Blow-in insulation made from 100% wheat straw

ISO straw consists of 100% wheat straw from the immediate vicinity of the manufacturing plant. Completely without additives.

Advantages of ISO STRAW

Soundproof

In extensive tests, ISO-STROH was certified as having an excellent sound insulation value.
According to EN ISO 717-1, the product has a RW value of
42 rated.

Heat and cold protection

Despite its high density, ISO straw insulates very well even in winter and has a cooling effect in summer, thus ensuring an extremely comfortable living environment at any time of year.

From raw material to product

harvest

Straw is a natural residue from the cultivation of cereal plants. Harvesting is done with combine harvesters, which eject the fiber material as a swath at the back. This swath is then processed into square bales by a tractor with a baler attached.

Procurement

The square bales serve as raw material for our ISO straw. They are immediately taken from the field by our regional suppliers and temporarily stored until we need them. In this way, a consistently dry material handling from the field to the wall can be guaranteed.

application

The bales are placed on the ISO straw plant in the factory,
where they are dissolved and the loose, fluffy straw through
sophisticated comminution processes gives it its homogeneous final form. Here, too, the product becomes dry
temporarily stored so that it can be offered to customers at the usual high level
quality achieved.

Packing

The packaging is done by shrink-wrapping in vacuum
